Going Crazy
July 26, 2007 
Today is Thursday. We move on Saturday. If it weren’t for my neighbor I would be no where near ready. She came over the last couple days and worked me to death until the kitchen and downstairs were not only packed, but cleaned. So grateful for her! The ABF truck got delivered today and it makes it seem even real-er than before.
I am feeling like life is on hold. I keep telling the kids, “When we get to Oregon this….”, “When we get to Oregon that…” and I am tired of it. Bryan is busy with training yesterday, today and tomorrow. He has a dinner tonight. We are out of big boxes. I have my last Bunko night tonight. A is still sick. Boxes are everywhere. I haven’t had a shower since yesterday morning. My kids are tired and bored and hot. I am slowly going crazy. My To-Do list for tomorrow is huge. I have an eye appointment, I need to run to DI to get rid of some stuff. I need to find more boxes, I need to clean out the fridge and get the kids rooms packed up. I need to get the garage finished. I think I might be crazy all ready. This might be my last post for awhile….wish us luck! Pray I wont go to crazy!

This week:
Visit Target – Usually DH would prefer that I stay away from here, BUT they have Pepsi on sale 4 for $10. Good deal. We are just a little addicted. Also, need some Zout. Ever tried this? The BEST stain remover in the world. Super cheap, too.
Big O – Tires need to be rotated and the oil needs changing.
Car dealership – My car is being recalled, so I need to take it in and have it fixed!
Cut T and DH hair – Why didn’t I do this last week? Hmmm.
Banks – I need to close one account and deposit some money into my kids accounts.
Pack – Having a girls weekend with two of my sisters and my mom this next weekend! Can’t wait! We will do some shopping, see a show and have a blast!
Pack – I need to fill boxes and boxes of stuff because we move in less that two weeks. Oh, my goodness! I better get busy!
BBQ – My dear friend is throwing us a “goodbye/good luck” bbq with the families that we have been close to over the last seven years. I would like to do something for these families. Any ideas? Something easy, please!

Here We Go!

We are signing an acceptance to the counter-offer that we got late last night! It is so exciting! It seems like a good area and we are excited to get this underway. Next is the home inspection and the appraisal. Keeping my fingers crossed that all goes well!
It is a 3 bedroom home with an office-all up stairs. Down stairs is a family room (w/a gas fireplace), kitchen, and living and dining rooms. The laundry is also downstairs. It has a 60 foot deck in the back for entertaining and a three-car tandem garage. It needs some paint inside but we can move in and work on that a little later. The boys room is really bright blue and T wants a green room, and the girl’s room is bright pink and yellow but I think that we will leave it. The master bedroom is rose colored and green and I think that we will repaint it. The living room is yellow, with sponged walls that will have to repainted, although it matches the curtains which are very nice. I am excited to have a fireplace….we don’t have one here and I have always wanted one!
Bad news…
Our realtor called tonight and apparently our offer was taken in at the same time as another and ours was rejected. I am feeling so disappointed. I just don’t know what to do. I didn’t fall in love with any other houses. I am worried about what we are going to do. Oh, well. Since it didn’t happen, I guess there is a reason, huh?!
